Kohene Technology Institute Holds 2025 Graduation Ceremony. with a Call to Impact Communities

Kohene Technology Institute (KTI) proudly held its 2025 Graduation Ceremony on 7th March 2025 at the school premises, marking a significant milestone in the lives of our graduating students. The event was a beautiful celebration of achievement, resilience, and hope for the future.

The ceremony commenced with a formal Procession at 10:00am, followed by an Invocation that set the tone for the occasion. In his Welcome and Opening Remarks, the Manager of KTI, Mr. Maxwel Adu-Wiafe, expressed appreciation to all stakeholders and commended the graduates for their hard work and perseverance.

The national spirit was lifted with the singing of the National Anthem, after

 

 which the Opening Address was delivered by Engr. Dr. Kofi Ohene Emmanuel, who inspired the graduates with a powerful message on professionalism and purpose.

A highlight of the event was the Special Address originally scheduled to be delivered by Hon. Frank Annoh Dompreh (Minority Chief Whip). Due to his engagement on a national assignment, Hon. Dompreh delegated Mr. Owusu Arthur Emmanuel, the former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, to speak on his behalf.

In his address, Mr. Emmanuel conveyed Hon. Dompreh’s message, urging the graduates to use the technical and vocational skills they have acquired to better themselves, uplift their communities, and contribute positively to national development. He emphasized that their education is a powerful tool for driving meaningful change across Ghana.

Additional addresses were delivered by the Municipal Director of Education and Mr. James Danso Baffoe, Head of the Voucher Project at CTVET, both of whom urged graduates to continue learning, innovate, and be ambassadors of positive change.

  

Evelyn Okyere, the Valedictorian, gave a heartfelt address on behalf of her colleagues, thanking the faculty and staff for their dedication and support.

The ceremony also featured:

  • Special Awards and Recognitions to outstanding learners

  • Presentation of Certificates

  • The symbolic Turning of the Tassels

  • A Special Musical Performance by the school band

  • Closing Remarks by Sr. Elizabeth Newman, the Board Chairperson of KTI

In their speeches, all dignitaries emphasized the importance of using acquired skills not only for personal gain but also for the betterment of society and the nation at large.
