As part of the school’s skill development training
The Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association undertook a one month training in fashion design for brazier Cup & Corset.
This ended with graduation ceremony which was under the auspices of Hon. Frank Annor Dompreh MP for Nsawam Adoagyiri
Addressing the graduands, he entreated them not to sleep on the knowledge that have acquired within these few weeks but use it to improve their wellbeing and also societies. He donated a cash of Ghc1000 and 3 bags of rice for the group.
He further promise a cash of Ghc10000 to the school every year starting from 2022
Mad Elizabeth Newman, the Board Chairperson to Kohene Technology Institute also admonished the graduands not to be complecence with what they have but be mindful of what they do with what they have.
She congratulated Mr. Kofi Ohene Emmanuel the Director of the school for solely thinking about the need that will help society by establishing such a training facility.
Mr. Emmanuel Asamoah, the administrator of the school on his part spoke about the activities of the school and entreated all and sundry that courses like this is designed to provide a ready job market for anyone who pass through the school with a skill. He called in the MP to use his office to help the school finalize the COTVET processes since all the necessary accreditation has been acquired waiting for contract from the Ctvet Service.
